Investors, entrepreneurs, doers

We have raised a total of approximately €180 million in funding, successfully exited investments and our own companies, but most importantly - we still enjoy the beating of the entrepeurial heart and we work hard to get things done.

Cleantech Invest Mission Statement

Our purpose is to improve the Earth’s ecosystems and the quality of life through investing in and accelerating companies which solve global environmental challenges.

Shareholder value follows. Join us!

TO IMPROVE THE EARTH’S ECOSYSTEMS AND THE QUALITY OF LIFE

Our companies do some amazing things. They clean water so that can it be re-used again and again; they decrease carbon
emissions in some of the biggest manufacturing plants in the world; they give US consumers a more sustainable way to shop; and they take renewable energy to places where there was previously none.

The common denominator here is that they all seek to have high positive impact on the Earth’s ecosystems and quality of life, both in the short and longer-term

As a firm we want to make this positive impact as big as possible.

THROUGH INVESTING IN AND ACCELERATING COMPANIES WHICH SOLVE GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES

The main competitors our portfolio companies face tend to be less environmentally-friendly alternatives.

That is simply the way the world has been constructed. The competition utilizes fossil fuels, harmful chemicals and petrol-powered
transportation. In resource hungry industries, they deliver customer value per individual but they do this at a cost to the environment and human quality of life at the same time.

We believe that by accelerating our companies and seeing them earn market share we change the world for the better.

SHAREHOLDER VALUE FOLLOWS

The rules of the game for a stock-listed company is to build shareholder value. We are committed to this and embrace it. And we believe this is exactly what happens when we succeed in building high impact companies. We also understand that this is strongly correlated with our own governance, drive and creativity. We focus on communicating the financial progress of our portfolio companies and aim that our share price accurately reflects their development.

Our business model is based on a modest operational income from advisory services and sizable income in the moments when highly successful exits are made. This irregularity in profit and dividend is understood by our shareholders because we communicate it clearly.

JOIN US!

We are constantly on the look-out for people and partners who want to co-create the future with us. Whether as an investor in us, or into one of our portfolio companies directly; as a partner, customer or supplier or a start-up who needs an active new owner, we really appreciate being contacted for co-operation and for potential opportunities.

We can’t do this on our own and besides, it’s more fun together!
